Want to ponder on life, all alone
Overthink and cry, on my own

Want to pause thinking about the bigger problems
And play with the toys of joy, on my own

Want to just sit and watch the world goes by
And forget where I am going, on my own

Want to stop trying to make everyone a friend
And learn from my mistakes, on my own

Want to rediscover my dreams and passions
And chase and live them, on my own

Want to just sit while my worries sit beside
And yet achieve peace in this solitude, on my own
